6300 High Pitched alarm?

Just got the 6300 2 weeks ago. This has happened randomly a few times. The radio will start emitting a high pitched tone, like an alarm. It is constant. It doesnt bother either transmit or receive. Shutting down SmartSDR and the computer have no affect. The only way to stop it is to shut off the box. Any ideas? Anyone else experiencing this?

Is this tone coming out of the speakers?
If so, have you checked the speakers?
Do you hear it through headphones?

If you hear it at the box with everything else turned off, it could be a fan bearing.

    That was my thought, too.
