I'm running 2.4.9 on a 6500 and this morning when starting SSDR I got the BSoD. I restarted PC ok and when I loaded SSDR the radio and DAX loaded just fine but no CAT, when I started CAT 4 of my 6 ports were wiped and 1 was wrong. I uninstalled SSDR, kept the DAX drivers and reinstalled, restarted PC and all came up just fine except CAT still missing 4 ports and 1 was wrong.
at this writing the problem can be seen in the "add port" screen shot. When I'm trying to set the "client COM:" port to one of my FVSP ports the software won't let me change from "com12". if I select Existing I get a list of ports I can select but the FVSP ports are not accessible. Do I need to uninstall/reinstall FVSP?

I had this exact same problem this morning with 2.6. All of my CAT ports were gone except for the two base ones.

If a second reboot does not correct it, the reset SmartCAT , right click on Remove in the SmartCAT window, then left click on Reset FlexVSP Ports . This should correct your issue.

Hello Dudley,
I had tried that before my first post and no joy. And, after uninstalling/reinstalling SSDR with VSP and trying the reset FVSP ports and waiting a full 60 seconds, still NO JOY.... what am I not getting? I look at my ports in device manager and all my original VSP ports are gone and I have restarted the radio and PC many times. What else could be locking up my generation of VSP ports?
I just took a look for hidden ports and all my original FVSP ports are showing up as hidden. Should I try and delete them Dudley?

Same issue with me. I tried the method Dudley describes with no luck. I cannot seem to clear the older Com ports even with a third party program. I have temporarily assigned new ports above the older ones.

I was able to clear the hidden ports successfully, restarted PC and they seem to be gone but, still not able to add a FVSP port...

I used Com Arbiter to clean the old ports and can now select them.
Thank you.

this issue has been resolved. I put in a help ticket to Flex this morning, Tim got back to me and found I had NO problem, or I should say the problem was I had forgotten how to set a CAT port!
As in the past, a big THANK YOU to Flex for a speedy resolution!

This is actually a compliment. When things have worked well for so long that the setup/adjustments have been forgotten is far better than having to do the setup frequently, keeping it fresh in the memory blank.
