Here are a few wish list items I have for 2.x as we continue into 2018:

My wish list:

1) DX spots on the pan.  I know this is requested a billion times but I really like how N1MM did it.  I'd like to be able to set a threshold horizontal line and only plot the spots that show some signal, say +/- 1 khz of the spot frequency above that threshold line.   It does me zero good to see that ZZ29XY is on 7.021.5 when I see absolutely no signal there.   N1MM does a nice job of this.  It should be a relatively easy thing to do in SmartSDR.  It would be nice if this had an auto feature where the threshold line could be set to always be some number of dBm above your average noise across the pan.

2) I'd like an option to change the dBm numbers on the right side to S units.  It is nice to be able to visually link a horizontal line for like S7 to signals in the band without having to move a pan there.

3) Limited DAX remote.  I realize we are starting to get into bandwidth problems but it would be nice if DAX allowed say one RX channel and the TX channel to be remote.

4) A programmable, displayable button window.  Each button can be linked to a CSScript that we are responsible for writing and maintaining.  The CSScript would be passed in a radio object so we could do things like tune, delay 5 seconds, stop tune. etc.  We should be able to set the label of the button.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
