2 radios 2 computers one network still a problem

I have 2 radios each with its own computer and running on the same network.
Yes I have filter.txt with the correct radio's serial nr installed on each separate computer.
But if I have the 6700 running on one computer, with its DAX showing what slices are operating,, and then start SmartSDR DAX on the second computer screen with a 6500, the 6500 DAX picks up the operating slices from the 6700.

So the only way, to operate the 6500 is to turn off the 6700, definitely not what I wanted!!.

Comments and ideas please.
Thanks
Ross

My Cable Internet service, supplies two IP addresses, I run a switch after my cable modem and run 2 routers so I have two separate networks. If I need the two networks to communicate with each other to move files around or what ever, I can use a temporary VPN connection.

Ross, we run like this in the FlexRadio office all the time -- except that there are 10-20 radios on the network at one time.  filter.txt controls everything on the SmartSDR/DAX/CAT side.  You must set this on both machines to ensure they are isolated and they both must be restarted (or you have to restart SmartSDR/DAX/CAT).

Steve,
thanks for the comment, but it isn't working for me.
I have filter.txt on both computers, the computer with the 6500 has the 6500 serial number, and the computer with the 6700 has the 6700 serial number.
The computers are restarted every morning, so they have been restarted a number of times.
I normally run the 6700,but if I start the 6500 on it,s computer Dax picks up the slices on the 6700.

Regards
Ross

Well this is something that has worked without fail for us for several years. My guess is that you have an extra space in the file or it's not in the right directory, etc. if you can't get it to work, enter a help desk ticket and we can have someone log in remotely and take a look.

Steve, thanks for you comments, I appreciate the assistance.
Filter.txt, is in the users....appdata\roaming\\flexradiosystems folder.
This folder shows  Inst.Logs, LogFiles, SmartSDR ,Dax.settings,  filter.txt and SSDR.settings.
I hope it is in the correct folder.

Well, mine on Windows 7 is:

C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\FlexRadio Systems

So yes, only one slash.
