Low Bandwidth SmartLink connection

I am getting ready to go "camping" in my 5th wheel camper to a local state park next week, so I tested out SmartLink and TeamViewer using my cell phone as a hot spot.

I tried to use the low bandwidth SmartLink connection, but I could not get it to work. I was, however, able to get the regular connection to work once I cut the frame rates for the panadapter and waterfall. It surprised me that the low bandwidth connection failed and the regular connection succeeded. Is there an issue with the low bandwidth selection? It failed whether or not I had TeamViewer running and it failed no matter the frame rates of the panadapter and waterfall.

I am happy that it worked from home using my cell hotspot, but when I am out and about and cell coverage is poor, I think I will really need to use the low bandwidth connection. Any insight as to what might be wrong would be appreciated!

I am running a Flex 6400 V 3.2.31.2837. All my radio and computing equipment is connected using short CAT 5 ethernet cabling - no WiFi. Both of my laptops are running Win 10.

I took Mike, VA3MW's suggestion, and connected a laptop to my amp and tuner so that I can control them remotely using TeamViewer - worked great, thanks Mike!

With 3.2.39, the Low Bandwidth connect now works reliably. I am not sure if something changed in SmartSDR, or if it was environmental at my end, but in any event, it is now working great.
