Maestro lost of cw keying to remote 6600

Pre-tested 6600 at the remote site, Maestro at home with paddle and N1MM logger using SmartCat and Smart DAX version 2.4.9:115.
Got up early for CWT and would not key Flex 6600 form F1-F6 keys, N1MM or paddle on Maestro.  Cold rebooted Flex 2 or three times before all was well again.
Anyone have any key to what I can look for next time.    The network was green/yellow 90-100 MS Latency and 30 out of 2,000,000 packets or 0.00% per Maestro display.
Maestro tuned fine and displayed fine.  Keying would generate sidetone but not key transmitter.
Thanks, Russ K5OA

I have had this problem twice.  Working CW remotely with Maestro and rig went key down (or so it appeared) and maestro display froze.  Disconnected rig using SSDR on a computer (Disconnect user).  After that no remote CW keying, although I had sidetone and tune worked.  Could press MOX and go into tx but no keying still.  In the first instance everything was located here and it fixed itself when I plugged the key directly into the rig, then reverted to maestro.  This time rig is 1,255 miles up the road.  What to do?
