Is  Controlled Envelope SSB used in the DigL or DigiU mode?

    No.  When a digital mode (DIGx and RTTY) is selected, all signal processing is bypassed.

    Thanks. I can see that actually happening, so...... is there an advantage when using a mode such as JT-8 to use USB instead of DigU, or is it actually disadvantageous?

    Definitely a disadvantage to use USB for Digital Modes as the various DSP and CESSB add non linearity's that can corrupt digital signals.

    I just wish it would remember that I change the default bandwidth from 1khz to 3khz to operate FT-8.  Maybe that is in the global settings or something.  I have not dived that deep into the manual.  I have never run RTTY, but I am guessing that 1khz is standard for other digital modes.  It is nice to have a bit of extra functional bandwidth as some people are operating slightly below or above the "designated" FT-8 frequencies due to crowding.

    I set up my FT-8 modes and save a profile with the appropriate BW, etc. Just don't switch bands with transmit selected  and ready when in the FT modes.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
