Yea! I too hope to hear more info about a rack kit.

I do have a rack shelf in the mean time until the official kit is available.

The price for the kit is $99.00

Availability is sometime in February 2018.  Check with Sales around that time.

Can you use both the rack ears and the handles at the same time?

Great! Be sure to communicate that back to the shipping department when they send your invoice.

The invoice does not specify its for non M radios only. Does not seem like it would work on a M radio without inhibiting tuning of the second slice.

It looks like there is a few inches from the handle and VFO B so should not be a problem, The handles help prevent accidentally snapping the knobs off the front panel.

Yea I don't think so. Long way from a few inches.image

I wonder if the handles have an offset?

I guess we need to see a picture of an “M” model with the handles and & ears attached to the radio to get a better idea.

I apologize for the confusion on this as this handle kit was intended for the Non M models. It will technically work on the M models but will have a slight spacing issue as indicated by Rich. I tried one just now and found that while I can still turn the knobs the handle does get in the way. Larger fingers will not be able to fit between the knob and the handle.

We are adjusting our messaging to make sure that this is clarified.

Thank you to our amazing customers for making sure we are staying on top of things!

Well I am betting the Maestro was never intended to be on the front of the radio. It just worked out that way.

It was a proven design and saved some tooling cost to use it, so they did.

Matt, while I have you. I assume you guys are swamped and I am in the call back queue to take my money?

73 and have a nice weekend.

I must have missed this response.
Our club order, to RadioWorld (Canada) requested the rack ears but that may not have been passed through.
Last I heard these ears would be announced in the future.
Are they now available?  How can we now order them?
