Flex 6300 not able to get two panadapters with 2 differente antennas

Hi All!
Using Flex6300 on Windows 7. If I use two panadapters, cannot use 2 different RX antenas. If I change  the RX antenna in one of the panadapter, the other change also for the same antenna making impossible to get two different antennas working at the same time.

I kindly ask for help.

There is only one receiver in the 6300 so no matter how many slices you are using they all are part of that single receiver. You need the 6700 to have different antennas on 2 different bands or slices or to use diversity reception. Cheers Paul

Wrong. The 6500 only has One Spectral Capture Unit. You need a 6700 for 2

I stand corrected, I was thinking about the TX pull down to select an antenna.  Getting old...

It is possible, on a limited scale, to place a diplexer/triplexer on your antenna feed that will make several antennae APPEAR as one antenna to the 6300.

You will still be limited to a single TX antenna, or turn off the ATU, or retune on every TX band change.

The RX will be in WIDE mode.

Even the 6700 comes up short with a TX antenna on ANT1, diversity RX antenna on RX2, and 2M amp on XVTR.  The diversity antenna can be diplexed (can diplexer be made a verb?) with the 2M signal on the XVTR port.

I have done similar with a 6 meter diplexer and antenna on my 6500. It worked, But performance suffered a little when SWR was high on the HF side antenna. The biggest problem was that the preamp setting was the same for all bands. With the preamp turned ON for 6 meters, it made 40 and 80 really noisy.

This is a good reason to use something like a six band hexbeam or cobweb as one of your antennas, having 6 resonant bands on one coaxial feed to the radio is very handy.
    cheers
