Is it going to cost the wife some money?  I mean, do I need it?   I mean, do I need to practice my puppy dog eyes and take her out for a Taco Bell to butter her up????

    How about a FLEX-6300 with a max of 2 slices/pans and a target price between the FLEX-3000 and FLEX-6500?

Or perhaps a 6 meter to 70 cm Version?

    Enhanced FlexControl Knob?

I also like the Solid State Amp idea... but all my money is going into a tower and T-11 Log Periodic antenna this year.  Can't afford a big amp.... (: (

oh, oh,oh, i get it.....All 6500 owners get free upgrade to 6700!  yeah, that'll do it!

hmmmm,  we are talking about software defined radios.

May 12th might bring a new software feature that will, once again, give us a "new radio" ! !

My most exciting experience with FlexRadio products, besides the incredible radios, is the feeling I get when my fascinating hardware takes on a new personality because of new software.

    Maybe??

I bought one of those magic boxes and this is what was inside my box!  I bet someone else has a different setup in his box like maybe a RTTY station or ?  Dozens of different stations are in there!

    .

Slice A and skimmer right is locked on the DX freq!  Slice B is the transmitter happily skipping through the pileup by clicking on skimmer left!

This is all it took to get this running on my magic box.  More to follow

Oh Yes, Google has an interesting cache of a sneaky page that appears if you look for a "Flex 6300", seems very good if there is one, the 6500 and 6700 could do with a baby brother!

Maybe the 3000 is due to retire ...

That's the way I like it!   Previews give you time to think and dwell!  Making it available and being able to pull the trigger means a whole load more of impulse purchases!

Dayton Deals for those of us not able to go!???  ;-)
