Never Used Flex 8600 for Sale

Lawrence Libsch

Condition: This radio has never been used. My wife got ill. She died. I’m moving to a retirement community. I ordered the radio from Flex in July 2024. I received it in January 2025. I removed it from the packing box and cabled it but never turned it on. The radio is in perfect condition exactly as received from Flex. Serial number will be provided to serious prospective buyers for verification. The radio’s full serial number will be recorded on PayPal Invoice. I will require phone conversation with potential buyer as scam protection. Phone number to be provided via QRZ.com email exchange.

Price: $4200 firm; CONUS shipping via UPS Ground paid by seller (MSRP $4899) — includes original box and full factory accessory kit. Price is firm given unused condition; will not consider NY state buyers because of NY state sales tax complications; I will list this radio on the Flex Flea Market and on QRZ.com. No returns.

What's included (complete factory kit):

• FLEX-8600 Signature Series SDR Transceiver
• FHM-3 hand microphone
• DC power cable (Powerpole)
• Ethernet cable
• GNSS/GPS antenna
• Quick start guide
• Original box and all factory packaging materials

Payment: PayPal Invoice preferred (buyer protection for both parties). No wire transfers or F&F from unknown buyers. No returns.

Shipping: Will ship CONUS, double-boxed and insured for full value — seller will pay shipping cost. Local pickup by out of NY state buyer welcome in Chatham, NY and preferred for large item like this. Please note that NY buyers would owe sales tax. Out of NY state sale, no sales tax.

Warranty note: Original 2-year FlexRadio hardware warranty expires December 20, 2026 and is transferable to you as the new owner. Happy to provide proof of expiration date as confirmed by Tim Ellison at the Flex help desk.
