Disable Antennatuner on Flex 8600

Hello everyone,
Is it possible to permanently disable the antenna tuner on the Flex 8600? Unfortunately, the unit is only available with a built-in antenna tuner. Whenever I change the frequency on the Maestro, the tuner switches itself back on. Since I use an SPE power amplifier, having the tuner ahead of the amplifier is pointless.

    Push and hold it to put it in Bypass.

    I think that you'll need to do this on each band/mode to make sure it stays off.

    On my Aurora and FLEX-8600 I never ever use the tuner and it is off 100% of the time.

    I don't have a manual in front of me, but I believe the ATU settings are managed in the Persistence settings. Have a look at the SmartSDR manual to make sure.

    Also, right-click on the ATU MEM Button and Clear the ATU Memories. And be sure the MEM Button stays OFF. This way the ATU Memory will not try to turn the ATU Back on when you move the VFO to frequencies where you have previously tuned the ATU.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
