Remote 6400, Maestro C, occasional drop outs, ability to extend the auto-reconnect time?

I am in California and use my Maestro C to connect to my remote Flex-6400 in Florida which is running 4.2.20.

Certain days and times, I lose the connection, the Maestro disconnects, and I need to manually reconnect.

However, using AetherSDR, when this problem happens, it reconnects by itself and what I noticed was that it waited longer before declaring failure. I have seen AetherSDR automatically reconnect after ~10+ seconds.

Is there a setting to tell the Maestro C to wait longer before declaring failure? For example, having the ability to extend the time where the Maestro C will try to reestablish the connection?

I do have a 1 Gbps U/D fiber link here and a Spectrum Cable MODEM in Florida. I do expect some occasional drop outs due to the distance and the multiple nodes, but as AetherSDR is able to work around this, I was wondering if it can also be done using the Maestro C. FYI, I use the Maestro C to connect to my Florida remote and to our club's remote 6600.

This issue arises even when the Maestro C is connected via LAN if the radio reboots for some reason. I concur that the auto connect needs some love. It would be great if it could be extended or if the user had the option to select the timeout period.
