Power and Tuner Genius Meters in SmartSDR

Hello All -

Here is a weird one. I assume I changed something to cause this. When I use my Tuner and Power Genius, the meter in SmartSDR (V 4.2.20 on Windows 11) does not show any movement. I can see movement in the Windows apps for each. I took a screenshot with SmartSDR and the apps in the window so you can see.

Any ideas what might have caused this?

I've rebooted the PC, radio, tuner, and amp with the same results.

I've tried it in AetherSDR (v26.8.2) and the Tuner meter deflects but the Amp does not.

Hi Tom,

try shutting down the power to all three (rear power switches on TG XL and PG XL and remove DC from radio.

Boot radio. Do not connect a client (SmartSDR), then boot PG XL. Last, boot TG XL, then start SmartSDR.

Also make sure you are running latest software /firmware. SmartSDR 4.2.20, PG XL 3.8.9, and TG XL 1.2.17. Check Device Configuration on each Genius device to ensure radio s/n is correct in Flex tab. In Genius Integration tab of TG, uncheck Power Genius (if checked). Check and select Antenna Genius if you have one.

Hi Dave - No changes made here and its working correctly today. I did power everything off last night and disconnected with a threat of T-storms… So maybe the sequence did the trick.
