I hav a Tx problem, please help.

First, my equipment: SmartSDR v3.5.8 and Flexradio 6400, Windows 11.
It has been a while since I worked in F8 mode. When I purchased a new desktop, I reinstalled SmartSDR. Reception with Wsjtx works fine; that is not where my problem lies.

Problem: The TX does not work; not only that, but I cannot generate a TX on SmartSDR either. That is why I am not looking for this problem in wsjtx, but rather an incorrect setting in SmartSDR itself.

Profiles.
On my previous desktop, I had many more options, including the DIGU option, but now under Profiles/Create Transmit profile/ I only see 3 options: Default, SO2R_TX1, and SO2R_TX2.

My current settings:

Profile manager/ Transmit: SO2R_TX2
Slide A (TX): DIGU and DAX checked. tx window, (just above the "TUNE and MOX" window, both active)

displays: SO2R_TX2.
rx window: the Digu option.

Finally, I have read many manuals, some contradict each other, but so far I haven't figured it out.

Hi Cees… is there any particular reason you haven't upgraded to 3.10.15? 3.5.8 is a very old version. It's not likely to be the cause of your problem, but having the latest version installed will help us help you.

Are you saying that the radio won't transmit at all (i.e. have you tried directly keying the PTT or hitting the MOX button?) or that it won't transmit under FT8? If it won't transmit at all with the current config, try saving your profiles (export), then do a full factory reset on the radio and try just a straight (no wsjtx) transmit using the PTT or MOX button. Preferably, connect a dummy load for this test. Remember to do this in CW or AM, since SSB won't really transmit anything until it's modulated. If this fails, then there is something wrong with the radio itself, and it would be best to open up a Help Desk Ticket.

The FLEX6400 is in good working order and can generate CW power.
The problem lies with the DIGU mode in SmartSDR.
I am looking for all the relevant settings within SmartSDR; the WSJT settings are not an issue. I hope I have clarified exactly where the problem lies.

Hi John, as you suggested, I have downloaded the latest SmartSDR version.

I have been trying for weeks, but I just can't seem to get it to work.

I think it would be wise to ask you about the SmartSDR (digu) settings, in preparation for WSJT. SmartSDR recognizes the PC and the signals in the SDR window. The DAX window shows no RX streams.

So, let's put WSJT aside for now.

My goal now is to see the RX stream in the DAX and to produce output when I activate Tune. Here are some presets to get you started.

Profile:
Transmit: SO2R_TX
Microphone: Default
TX slide, DAX channel 1
"TUNE" Flex radio button Red, so transmit, no power.

Here are a few pictures of what I have set up now.
Could you, or other members, explain step-by-step what else I need to configure?
